The New Dolphin Inn
was situated at 115 High Street.
Latterly known as Montgomery's Hotel, and a
grade-II listed building, this was originally the
medieval Manor House of the Courtenay family. |

A well known coaching
inn. 3 storey, 4 windows, sash, now without glazing bars. Cl8 plastered
front with wide porch, with elongated Tuscan columns, to central carriage
way. Added square ground floor bays. 2nd floor band. Parapet. Slates.
Originally the mediaeval Manor House of Courtenays. |
