The White Horse was situated at the junction of
the A356 and Cattistock Road and has now been converted to mews of the same
name. Originally a 17th century pub which was rebuilt in the early 20th
century. Mentioned in Thomas Hardy's novel Tess Of The D'Urbervilles. |
